Hey there! Thank you for your interest in Mission Momplex. If we haven’t met yet, my name is Miranda Cox. I love talking about parenting, education, homeschooling, effective communication, and different ways to play with kids.
Basically, I love discussing the topics we worry about all. the. time.
Since I care about communication, I decided to communicate through blog posts. The internet freaks me out. Seriously! It is impossible to navigate all the parenting-related text, and it can be so confusing! You are probably freaking out enough because you are a parent with lots of choices to make. I want to be your safety net. I created this website to encompass all the qualities a friendly, calm, loving, and understanding parent might have when a panicky child approaches them with a question. Mission Momplex is here to support you and your family when you feel alone and anxious.
Mission Momplex started with the idea that parents could be “in charge” of what their children had access to while respecting the boundaries, temperaments, and personal interests of both the parent and the child. I see parenting extremes—which also freak me out—and I think it is essential to know that there can be balance and fluidity.
This site is all about parents, kids, their relationships, and the things that help us play and communicate better, so we set them up for success. Parents should be active, playful, and educated if we expect our littles to be active, playful, and educated. This website allows parents to feel safe enough to explore, so they learn the information they need to help develop their children’s unique interests.
Our Promise
Mission Momplex helps contemporary, active, and supportive parents who want their children to develop a healthy curiosity for learning by providing parenting tips, strategies, and ideas so parents master nurturing their children’s independent thinking.
